This awesome video is thanks to Glen Patchet who joined us on our 8-day Sea to Sky trip out of Vancouver, Canada. This is an amazing guided mountain bike trip that features an amazing variety of riding from super-mountain-bike-friendly Whistler to the cult riding town Squamish to dusty cowboy hamlet Pemberton and the infamous North Shore mountain bike trails. This video shows the creme de la creme of the trip...the South Chilcotins. Thanks Glen! Enjoy folks...

Beauty day of mountain cycling in Whistler, BC.

We've just begun a private Sea to Sky mountain bike trip, a ten-day jaunt in our most beautiful backyard here in BC. Riding the nuggets of Whistler, Squamish, Pemberton, the Chilcotins and the Sunshine Coast with a little Whistler Bike Park thrown in there for good measure and an optional North Shore ride. What a line up! It's great to see our trails through the eyes of others. Check back here in the next week for more reports from the front lines.

Just up the road from Vancouver and just down the road from Whistler is a town called Squamish...which some call Squampton because of it's trailer parks, red necks and new Wallmart from some angles it shines a little like Compton CA, kinda. Beyond these features lies one killer network of man-made trails built by masters like Big Red Ted of Red Bull Rampage fame and a host of other builders. The place is insane - big bike shuttles or endless all-mountain loops, Squamish is worldclass. This clip is of Big Mountain guide Kevin Landry who built the trail himself. Want to ride with Landry? crankworx..friday ride

my Crankworx Whistler week-end was all about riding epic all-mountain singletrack with Pemberton + Whistler + Squamish friends...what a blast! On Friday our good friends at Chromag Bikes hosted a fantastic ride-bbq-beers event. We left the Chromag headquarters in Function Junction and headed up Flank trail on the westside of the valley and rode Cheap Thrills and a quiver of other trails that i can't remember and 4 hours or so later we were enjoying cold beers and smokies. Thanks to Ian Ritz and Kevin Phelps and Chromag for the great times. That night turned into a shaker...drinks are the Blake Jorgenson Gallery and then more drinks and carousing at the Fireside and the 10th anniversary of New World Disorder. Congrats on the milestone and thanks for the great movies.
